Nestled in the heart of the Lowcountry, Terra Designs is a two-story interior design boutique founded by Jennifer Patterson. With over 22 years of experience, having learned textiles at Scalamandre, and years running a successful design business in Washington, D.C., Jennifer returned to her Charleston roots to open her first store in 2006, followed by her flagship location in 2016.

Terra Designs is a curated destination for hand-selected furniture, lighting, rugs, art, fabrics, wallpaper, accessories, and quick-ship draperies. Jennifer’s signature style blends coastal modern with classic Southern charm, reflecting the natural beauty of the Lowcountry and the storied patina of historic Charleston. Her showroom showcases her love of colorful block-printed textiles, warm rattan textures, and light, airy upholstery in a palette of cool blues, serene greens, and earthy neutrals.
